
Skip was born in Washington, DC in 1958. He lived in the suburban Washington
until he was nine when his family moved to Annapolis, MD. He graduated in
1980 from Wheaton College with a degree in Bible. He met his wife Kathy
late that summer and were married in August of 1981. They went north to
Philadelphia where Skip earned his M. Div. At Westminster Seminary. He has
served in PCA churches in Macon GA, Lexington KY and South Bend IN. He has
ministered for seven years at Arden Presbyterian where he had the title
of Pastor of Children’s Ministries and Adult Education. He also serves as
the Stated Clerk of Western Carolina Presbytery. God has blessed Kathy and
Skip with three children. Matthew teaches autistic children in Charlottesville,
VA. Brian graduated from Covenant College in 2009 and now serves with the
Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia. Kelly is a sophomore at Covenant
College. Kathy is a Learning Disability Therapist at ACA. After serving
as the interim pastor for a year, Skip was installeded as Pastor in June,
2006.
